Matt is THE driving instructor. On my first test try, things happened and i ended up not passing. But, with the help of Matt, i was able to regain my confidence. He was always so helpful and considerate of nerves, fears and concerns. He fit every lesson to be ideal for what i wanted to work on and achieve. He is incredibly honest and realistic in his observations of students driving and always puts his plans into action on how to improve as soon as he can.
Since my first lesson he always did his best for me to feel comfortable and safe in the car, always being friendly and making me laugh. Overall he just made my experience of learning to drive unforgettable and i looked forward to every lesson.
As i move past my lessons and into driving by myself, everything Matt has taught me will stay with me, like a little (slightly irritating) voice in my head always telling me to be sensible and stay safe. Matt will be one of the people i will always trust and i know if i ever need anything to do with driving or my car, he is the first port of call.
I am forever grateful to have had such amazing driving instructor and i think you’d be silly to not have him too. If you’re looking for comfortability, safety, amazing teaching suited specifically to you, and not only an amazing teacher, but a person you can call a friend, he’s your guy!

Matt taught both my kids to drive, very different children with different approaches to learning. He ‘got’ them both and worked with them developing them into confident but most importantly safe drivers. Thank you Matt, we would really recommend you.

Genuinely just such a lovely guy- he clearly knows exactly what he’s doing which puts you at ease when learning. He will throw you in the deep end with new things but he helps you pick up the skills genuinely so quickly. Thanks for all the help Matt!!

Matt has been the most amazing teacher. He helped me switch from manual to automatic and build the confidence to pass. Matt combines a mix of witty humour and experienced teaching methods to make each lesson a positive experience.

On the day of my test he was very supportive and gave me the calm guidance I needed to pass.

For anyone looking for automatic lessons, Matt is the best choice out there. He has been excellent throughout.
